02 · WHAT DO WE USE?

We may receive your name, email address, possible destination, travel preferences and anything else you choose to include in your message. We use it to answer your enquiry, understand the journey and, where requested, prepare or provide our travel design service.

03 · WHY MAY WE PROCESS IT?

The legal basis is your request and the steps needed before entering into a service agreement. If we ever ask to send optional news or inspiration, that will be separate and based on your consent.

04 · WHO CAN ACCESS IT?

We do not sell or share enquiry data for advertising. Technical providers that help us operate the website and email may process limited information on our behalf and under their own security and privacy commitments.

05 · HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?

If an enquiry does not become a client relationship, we normally delete or anonymise it within 12 months. When a service is contracted, we keep the information required to provide it and to meet applicable legal obligations.

06 · YOUR RIGHTS

You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data, and request portability where it applies. Write to hello@awemade.travel. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

07 · ANALYTICS AND COOKIES

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand visits to our public website: pages viewed, general referral sources, device information, activity and approximate location. Google processes this information using analytics identifiers and the technical information needed to deliver the service. The Google tag is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting them leaves the website fully usable. We do not enable advertising features or Google Signals, and do not send names, email addresses, form contents or private studio activity to Analytics. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are configured to expire after 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit. We remember your cookie choice in your browser for 180 days. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Cookies button; rejecting stops Analytics and removes its cookies from this website. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under its applicable data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. See the Google information links below.

08 · BASIC ACTIVITY COUNTS

Separately, we keep aggregate daily counts of public page loads and broad referral categories (search, social, direct, internal or other). These counters do not store IP addresses, full referrer URLs, visitor identifiers or individual browsing histories, and do not set cookies or use browser storage. Counts are kept for up to 400 days. We filter recognisable bots, but counts are not unique visitors. Hosting, security and private studio sign-in may use necessary technical cookies.

09 · PERSONAL AREA

Your personal area uses an assigned email and a randomly generated private key. We store the key digest, permitted guide and access dates, and a necessary session cookie lasting up to seven days. Ending a session invalidates it. To limit repeated sign-in attempts, we temporarily keep cryptographic digests of the account and connection identifiers; old attempt records and expired sessions are removed during sign-in. Clients may only access their assigned guide. Access can be closed independently of the studio archive. This login does not require a ChatGPT account and private pages are excluded from our Analytics.
